ABOUT THODDOO ISLAND

Thoddoo Island is located 1-1.5hrs west of Velana International Airport via speedboat and is situated in North Ari Atoll. Thoddoo is known as the main agricultural island of Maldives and is renowned for its watermelon, papaya and coconut tree plantations. This local island has a large land size of approximately 163ha. Guests can enjoy riding a bicycle or exploring the island on foot. Thoddoo is popular for its crystal clear blue water bikini beaches and its clean streets. Couples can also enjoy a romantic beach seafood dinner (additional extra). All guesthouses are situated in the middle of the island, with no hotels or guesthouses located on the beachfront. Thoddoo is also in close proximity to neighbouring islands Rasdhoo & Ukulhas. The local ferry network connects the islands or it’s possible to take a speedboat transfer for around USD$150pp one way. Thoddoo Island is also close by an incredible sandbank & nearby diving / snorkelling sites.

 

ITINERARY

DAY 1: 11am or 4pm transfer from Malé to Thoddoo Island (1hr 20mins), where you will spend 4 nights / 5 days. Check into Coco Villa.

 

DAY 2: Explore Thoddoo Island on your own terms today.

 

DAY 3: Morning snorkelling trip – possible manta ray sightings.

 

DAY 4: Explore Thoddoo Island on your own terms today.

 

DAY 5: 7am or 1pm transfer from Thoddoo to Airport – 1 hr via speedboat.
